This sign should be used where necessary to remind cyclists that they are required to dismount before crossing a road on a pedestrian crossing, a children's crossing or a marked pedestrian crosswalk at traffic signals. The sign may also be used to warn cyclists to dismount before reaching a particualar place at or beyond which it would be hazardous to continue riding. A second sign indicating the reason for the warning should, where appropriate, be mounted below this sign.
