* IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Please note that when choosing a pole for a sign you need to think about 3 important measurements to calculate:
1. How tall is the sign
2. How deep will the pole be buried
3. What is the regulation height from the ground surface to the bottom of the sign
VicRoads recommends that signs be installed at least 2m. from the ground surface to the bottom of the sign OR if in a high-pedestrian area then the sign needs to be installed at least 2.5m. from the ground surface to the bottom of the sign.
